What have our boys been up to lately?
Scouting For Food
Every year the Boy Scouts collect food from neighbors and friends to help feed those in need, for the Scouting For Food program. This food is then provided to local food pantries for distribution.
In our most recent collection, the scouts of Troop 21 of Saxonville coordinated the collection of 146 bags. That is a total of 1/2 ton of food!!!!
Thanks to all of those who donated to our collection.
Four Eagles at Once!
In October 2007, Troop 21 set a new troop record for advancement. Four of our Life Scouts advanced to Eagle Rank, the highest rank in Scouting. This is the highest number of scouts to advance to this rank in a single ceremony. Congratulations to JC, PP, JS and SL.
